While slightly warmer weather and rain are expected Wednesday, snow and chilly temps are likely coming early and later in the week, forecasters say.
DETROIT – Bundle up and limit your time outside this morning! Wind chills are in the single digits, and some areas have fallen below zero. Highs this afternoon will be more than 10 degrees below average, in the 20s. With high pressure just west of here, we will likely see some sunshine today. We have an active week ahead.

Frigid temperatures are expected across southeast Michigan through the rest of the week, according to the National Weather Service. NWS also warns that wind chills could fall to zero degrees between Wednesday night and Friday morning. Meteorologists with the agency also predict snow showers on Wednesday and over the weekend.
